Early Months-2 years
Rebel was born to two purebred Shiba Inus, though really the two acted like mutts. Her family was loud, rambunctious, and often throwing parties that the neighbors hated. Growing up in this lifestyle, Rebel was certainly a "party girl" to those who didn't know her and just seen her around. Whispers heard about her were such things as, "That's the girl that lives in the party house." "Do you think she or her parents do drugs?" "I wonder how to get invited."
Rebel wanted to be known for so much more than the parties her parents and family threw; hating every moment of the hours she spent listening to the pounding music. Her family never did understand why she wouldn't partake, but Rebel knew full well why she wouldn't: she would not be who the rumors said she was. Her parents never did settle down, and Rebel found it hard to be who they wanted her to be. She did well in her school, both academically and in the social aspect, particularly after she was in higher grades around more mature canines. At about 2 years old, Rebel packed a bag and moved out; having finally landed a job.
2 years-3 years
Rebel lived on the streets for the first several months of her newfound freedom. It wasn't ideal, but it was better than a party house she didn't want to be a part of. She eventually got fed up with her town, and began looking into new homes nearby. Cobalt called to her, for unknown reasons, and she stayed working at her dead end job for another few months while she saved up money. On her third birthday she said good-bye to a oblivious family and started the journey to Cobalt. Within the first day, she had a waitress job; and within the first week she had a second job at the library.
3 years-Present
Rebels job at the library is what led her to meet Dux, a well-known canine in Cobalt. He owned a large farm and invited Rebel to stay there, with a huge group of rag-tag strays who were, more or less, family. Rebel accepted, if only because she was tired of the streets she'd been on for now over 4 months. When she moved in, she fell in love; and Dux noticed her particular liking of numbers. He offered "Generation X", as the farm was called, to Rebel, which she hesitantly accepted. Rebel took a liking to the job of picking and choosing who stayed and who went, but disliked enforcing rules; so she kept Dux as a rule enforcer and right hand man.
Misc.
Somewhere along the way, Rebel was diagnosed with bi-polar, depression and anxiety. The combination of these three mental illnesses affects her daily life, and leads to a use of prescribed medication by a therapist she sees weekly. Otherwise, Rebel is perfectly healthy.

Dux: After Rebel moved to Cobalt, she found two jobs; one as a waitress and another as a librarian. Waitressing made for some interesting encounters, but no lasting ones; while working in the library led to one of her most important friendships. Dux, being the avid book reader he is, was in the library the same as he was every Tuesday evening. He and Rebel took to talking, over a book by Edgar Allen Poe no less, and the spark of friendship was evident immediately. Dux took such a shine to Rebel, he offered for her to live on his farm (Generation X) and later gifted it to her, though he stayed on as her right hand man to help enforce rules.
Personality
- Trustworthy: Rebel is incredibly trustworthy, both in loyalty and honesty. Once she is your friend, you are someone she will always protect, defend and be loyal to. Not just that, but she will always tell you the truth. While she cares deeply about how her friends feel, she is always honest about whether or not they are doing something wrong. In general, she's right; but she will accept when she is wrong and apologize.
- Resourceful: If ever lost in the woods, or stuck in an elevator, Rebel is who you want with you. She always knows the way out of a tight situation, whether it's shimmying out a drainpipe or smooth-talking a fella. She's got a million and one tricks up her sleeve, and no one is ever quite sure what she will do next.
- Introverted: While Rebel isn't afraid of making friends, she does tend to come off as a loner or introverted the majority of the time. She's always lost in her own little world, which makes it hard for her to reach out and make the first move. Because of this, she makes few friends; though she is entirely content with being alone as well.
