Mudd could be described in a few different words, but he would prefer others come to their own conclusion about him. If you ask about him, though, you'll find the opinion is often the same; He's loyal and honest, silly and fun, but closed off and serious at times. He doesn't reveal much about himself, especially when it's his first time meeting anyone. He's generally smiling, and cracking jokes; but not really at anyone else's expense... Though he will joke about his own flaws often. He lives to make others laugh, though when the time calls for it he can be serious. He's a gentle soul, with a will to protect; and so often defends the weaker links wherever he goes. Mudd can be a bit of a jerk at times, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. He is very opinionated, but not in a shove it down your throat way. He enjoys intellectual discussions; but only with those who match his intellect. He loves sweets and enjoys dates that include dessert; whether it be with friends or prospective girlfriends. Mudd is heterosexual, but he enjoys creeping other guys out by pretending to be homosexual (he also enjoys when the males flirt back, it makes it all the more fun in his opinion!). Mudd is a hard-worker, despite his overly playful personality. He loves physical labor and actually doing something more than sitting at a desk. He mostly enjoys working with his good friend, Charlize, who can keep up with him mentally and physically. He is a massive flirt and will flirt with anyone, male or female.
Overall, when you meet Mudd don't expect to learn much about his past or current events in his life. He keeps things very private, because he doesn't enjoy his life being on blast.
Betrayal by a friend is one of the most painful things any soul can go through. Unfortunately for Mudd, he has gone through it a lot and it has lost him things that are very dear to him. That's not to say he has led an unhappy life; for if you ask him about his family you will see the biggest smile you've ever seen upon his face. Mudd lived a happy, in-home life with his parents who were utterly in love and his one younger sibling. His parents often relayed their meeting in a way that could make anyone believe love at first sight exists, and Mudd grew up with that mantra in his head. Mudd was good in school, and was one of the prized pupils of all of his teachers. But, above all, he prided himself on being a good older sibling. His younger sister, Daisy but often referred to as "Cleann", was a weakling at birth, but matured into a beautiful young lady, though perhaps a bit too graceful and charming for her brothers tastes.
Mudd did love her, though, and protected her at all costs. Until he couldn't. Often, it is wondered why he doesn't trust easily, and why he's so closed off to meeting new people. The reason is that he has been betrayed so many times; the first of these betrayal coming from close family friends and resulting in the loss of Daisy. Daisy was a good pup, and many envied Mudd's parents for having such a darling child. His mother had friends that she had known for years, Mudd had grown up calling them Auntie and Uncle; who were just as jealous of Daisy as anyone else. When Daisy was pup-napped in the middle of the night, it wasn't hard to add his "Aunt and Uncle" to the list of possible culprits.
Despite the outstanding evidence, it still took 2 years to find Daisy and, at that point, she was no longer Daisy or "Cleann". She had been changed beyond repair, and because she no longer trusted Mudd to protect her he decided to move away. He keeps in contact with his family, but he has made himself a life among new friends.
When he found The Asylum, he stayed only because he needed to rest. Resting turned into loving the place, and so he ended up staying. Despite his hurt heart, he rekindled his laughter and his ability to love; though he never regained his ability to trust. Not until he met Charlize. You might think I'm skipping a lot of important information, but the truth is before he met Charlize Mudd was nothing short of a hollow shell. When he seen a local farm needed help, he jumped at the opportunity. While it wasn't as much work as he would have liked, it was nice to get his mind away from his past and jumbled thoughts for even a few hours every other day.
Mudd had never paid any mind to the sheep, until he seen Charlize working them. She stayed well after even the paid workers went in; and Mudd took to watching her the days she was there. He even began going to the farm on his days off to watch her herd the sheep: he was mesmerized. When he did finally meet Charlize, he believed he could love her; but she let him down easy and the two opted to become friends. She is how he marks his new beginning. Through Charlize, he met Levi; a now good friend and one of his partners on a Flag Football team that meets every Saturday. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Mudd works on the farm. Every other day, he is at the farm watching Charlize herd and messing with the flock if only to irritate her. Levi joins them some days, and laughs along with Mudd.
Only recently have the trio started stepping out of their comfort zones to go out and meet new people. They make many friends wherever they go, but forget just as many. They are wanderers at heart, though they do always return to handle their responsibilities. Mudd has even considered taking Charlize and Levi home with him to meet the family, if only because he thinks Charlize could help Daisy and because he knows Levi can give him the confidence he needs to face his parents.

- Mudd didn't live in Cobalt his whole life
- He moved because his sister was kidnapped and thus changed
- Mudd carries many demons. They melt away when he is with Charlize, Levi and Brina though
Mudd's personality is included in his biography because I used that to win him in the D2A. Because I really like it, I prefer keeping that to breaking it into 2 parts.
